I just started watching this, and I have to say, Sean Bean is so good in this… it’s so nice to see him play the main character for once, instead of like in Lord of the Rings where he’s a supporting character in a larger story who ends up dying at the end of the first movie/season… 😅

A lot of people are saying it's Jame's capture that started warming up Tywin to Tyrion, I, however, believe that had Tyrion been more of what Tywin wanted for Jame to be (minus the half man part, of course) their relationship would've elevated even further. Remember, Tyrion brought a lot of great things, however, with, them came a lot of dishonourable things which Tywin had despised regardless of who did it, but his son? That's even worse as he has a much higher standard for his own blood.

Sean Bean's look and voice are just perfect for these sorts of roles as he has already shown in sharpe and Lord of the Rings.
